Samsung WB110 comes forth with ultra wide angle capability and 26x zoom!!

A Samsung WB110 bridge camera has been introduced by the South Korean giant, and this powerful machine boasts of features like 26x optical zoom and the ability to capture ultra wide angle shots. So far, only its specifications have been introduced by the Samsung, while it has chosen to remain mum about its price and release date details.

The 26x optical zoom on this camera means better capturing of distant subjects without compromising quality. It features its ultra wide angle capability thanks to a 22.3mm lens that it grabs hold of. This setup of the Samsung WB110 is given company by a 20.2MP sensor, which is said to provide the camera with enhanced colors and details. The snapper also sports a 3-inch hVGA LCD on it for showcasing of pictures and videos. Taking a leaf out of smartphone displays, it garners a trait which helps it automatically adjust the optimal light level for the surroundings. HD video makes its way into the camera as well, allowing its users to capture clips with 720p resolution at 30fps. And apart from .mp4, output can also be gained in the AVC/H.264 format. Weighing in at 385 grams (without battery), this shooter kicks in ISO settings that can be pushed up to 3200. Furthermore, it fits into the dimensions of 114.48mm x 79.26mm x 86.45mm. Technologies that have been infused into it include a Smart Auto mode which acts like any other automatic mode and a Live Panorama mode which too captures usual panoramic shots. Additional traits include Smart Filter, Magic Frame and Split Shot. The camera supports storage via SDSC, SDHC and SDXC slots, while a 4-cell AA Type battery provides it with the necessary juice needed to keep its operations going. Like we said, neither the price nor the release date of the WB110 have come to the fore as yet. But we can expect it to hit relevant markets soon bearing a modest retail value.
